For this BA Capstone Horror Short & Proof-of-Concept, I worked in close communication with the producers, director, DP, and an art team assistant during pre-production and production.
During production, my assistant and I dressed and rearranged a children’s bedroom, a mother’s bedroom, a kitchen, and two living areas. Sets were reset and cleaned to their original state. We also handled prop management- including toys, stuffed animals, kitchen items, prop weapons, and prop food. On-set continuity, with the flexible shooting schedule, was also managed by me and my assistant.
Set decorations and props were sourced through Emerson prop houses, online, by borrowing, or by creation. Certain items such as the children’s drawings, the red journal, and a framed photo were hand-drawn or created through Photoshop.
